• Junior Women’s Championship
    Includes competitions for under-19, under-17, under-15, and under-13 age groups

    The Saskatchewan Junior Women’s Championship is open to golfers under the age of 19 as of the July 3, the date of the practice round at Chinook Golf Course in Swift Current in 2023.

    The first championship was held in 1951 at the Saskatoon Golf and Country Club, Geri Evans (Street) was the inaugural winner.

    The under-19 champion and top three finishers are eligible to attend national championships (location and information found here) later the same year, provided they are a Golf Saskatchewan member and meet our eligibility requirements.

    What do I receive?

    • All attendees receive a $25 food voucher card for the host course and a tee gift courtesy TaylorMade Golf – Canada and Golf Saskatchewan.
    • Golf Saskatchewan events are flighted by score and prizes (including gift cards from the host club) are awarded during the trophy presentation after the championship round.
    • Opportunity to attend a national championship with financial assistance from Golf Saskatchewan (NAAS),
    • a chance to see how your game holds up against other golf participants, and

    The amateur champion and top three finishers are eligible to attend national championships (locations and information found here) later the same year, provided they are a Golf Saskatchewan member and meet our eligibility requirements.

    Open to amateur female golfers over 25 years of age

    Golf Saskatchewan is hosting a Mid-Amateur Women’s Championship for the first time in 2023 alongside the Amateur Women’s Championship at North Battleford Golf and Country Club.

    The event is open to golfers 25 years of age and older on the date of the scheduled practice round on July 10.

    The mid-amateur champion and top three finishers are eligible to attend national championships (location and information found here) later the same year, provided they are a Golf Saskatchewan member and meet our eligibility requirements.

    Players must be 40 years or older by July 16, 2023.

    REGISTER FOR THE 2023 MID-MASTERS MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP

  • Champions Cup

    Created in 2022, the Champions Cup hosts club champions from member courses across Saskatchewan for a one-day, 18-hole team and individual event for all ages and genders.

    The Legends Golf Club hosted the inaugural championship with over 60 players competing in Warman.

    The Wascana Country Club took the team championship.

    This year’s Champions Cup will be held on Sept. 16, the venue is yet to be named.
