2025 Junior Women’s/Men’s OMT Standings

  • Junior Tour Information

Is comprised of three age divisions for junior men and junior women under-19, under-15, and under-13. (Age categories for the tour are based on the participant’s age as of the last day of the national championships.)

Points are awarded to the top 20 competitors in the under-19 division and top 10 competitors in the under-15 and under-13 divisions.

To earn points participants must be residents of Saskatchewan (exception: Lloydminster) and be a Golf Canada/Saskatchewan member.

    How points are earned?

Top four results counted from the Golf Saskatchewan Junior Order of Merit Tour, plus (+) Golf Saskatchewan provincials.

A maximum total of five events will determine the player’s overall point total.

Golfers are responsible for making their own arrangements to enter the tournaments.

There are no additional fees for participating on the Golf Saskatchewan Junior Order of Merit Tour.

    Tie breaking formula.

In the event of a tie at the end of the OMT season, if there are two or more players tied with the same point total, the following method will be used to break such a tie:

    1. The number of events played divided by the point totals.
      1. The player with the higher total average will be the OMT winner.
    2. If it is still a tie, the player with more wins in the calendar OMT year will be the winner.
    3. If a tie still happens, look at the last head-to-head competition, if such competition exists in their playing record. The player with the lower total score (or if match play – better record) will be given priority.
    4. If the three measures above still result in a tie, Golf Saskatchewan will award multiple year end awards and it remains as co-winners for the said year.

The winner of each OMT age division receives an exemption into a provincial championship of their choice for the next season.
