Two Saskatoon sisters recently took in a golf camp conducted by popular pro Lisa ‘Longball’ Vlooswyk and now the Frey’s are encouraging other ladies to try and get better at the game.
Denise and Roxanne Frey are regular players and share the love of the sport with their husbands. In late June the duo decided to enter into one of Vlooswyk’s camps at Calgary club Heritage Pointe.
There were three other instructors included over the two days of the camp with many areas of the game addressed. Women from New York, Philadelphia, Whistler, and other destinations travelled to Calgary to take part.
Both Roxanne and Denise spoke with Golf Saskatchewan about the experience where they highlight the takeaways and encourage other ladies to attend a camp or take lessons.
