North Battleford’s Tim Acaster sits second overall just a shot back (69,72) and Saskatoon player Marc Sweeney is just another back in third place.

First round leader Cole Obrigewitsch is tied fourth with Chase Pochylko. The leaderboard gets crowded in sixth with a half dozen players tied at even par going into the third round.

The Mid-Amateur Championship is a 54-hole event, the winner will be crowned alongside the women’s champions after round three. The first tee time is 7 a.m.

The top 20 amateur men and ties will move onto the fourth round on Friday to play for the amateur title and team positions.
