Nelson and Villeneuve chasing U.S. Blind Open championship

Gerry Nelson and Chris Villeneuve have won golf tournaments across the world, but one event is still eluding the pair, the 2023 ISPS Handa U.S. Blind Open.

Nelson and Villeneuve, who call Meadow Lake home leave on St. Patrick’s Day for the event in Columbus, GA at the Green Island Country Club. The 36-hole championship runs on March 21 and 22.

Golf Saskatchewan sat down with the high-ranked blind golf duo at Kingdom Golf where they practice weekly during the winter months.
