Ryan Mosher is the new leader of the Saskatchewan Junior Men’s Championship after the 2024 winner posted a round of 5-under par, 67 on Wednesday during round two of the event in Warman.
He will take a four shot lead into the final round on Thursday at The Legends Golf Club.
Like Mosher, Wyatt Nelson and Dane Giesbrecht climbed the leaderboard and will find themselves in the final group in round three. Nelson shot 1-under par 71 in round two, the Prince Albert product is 3-under par, Giesbrecht, who is playing his final junior provincial event at his home course shot 2-under par 70, he’s tied for third with Shae Maunula at 2-under par.

Maunula was the leader after the first round, the North Battleford resident still leads the under-17 age group.
Saskatoon’s Hudson Diederichs is second in the age group at 1-over par, Austin Nesbitt of Pilot Butte is third.

There is now an outright leader in the men’s under 15 division. Melville’s Keaton Kreklewich shot 1-under par in round two to take a four shot lead on Jun Lee of Regina. The duo was tied after round one.
Adam Stepaniuk of Emma Lake is third at 7-over par.

There is a new leader in the under-13 age group too. Reigning champion Hudson Deibert of Regina carded his second straight 76 of the tournament, the 11-yeae-old leads Jackson Orr of Corman Park by four and round one leader Cohen Bridge (Saskatoon) by five.

Reigning under-19 and under-17 women’s champion Grace Odnokon had the lead after day one and remains on top pf the leaderboard through 36 holes in Warman.
She posted a round of 6-over par 78 leaving her at 9-over par two thirds of the way through the event.
Kyle’s Chloe Wills shot the low round of the day on the ladies’ side shooting 1-over par 73, jumping up three spots on the leaderboard into second just two strokes back of Odnokon.
Tina Liu of Warman sits third at 15-over par.

In the under-15 women’s category North Battleford junior Natalie Maunula continues to lead. She chopped four strokes off her score from round one and sits at 24-over par 168. Wynyard’s Alyxa Melsted is second at 31-over par, Clara Zhang of Saskatoon is third at 46-over par.
The final round of the championships will begin at 7 a.m. on Wednesday with the under-13 men’s age group.
The final group of under-19 men will tee off at 2:30 p.m.
