Earlier in July, Golf Saskatchewan partnered with Elk Ridge and a trio of PGA of Canada coaches to host the inaugural Ladies Camp.
Golf Saskatchewan Manager of Sport Development Steve Ryde was joined by Patty Jonas, Anna Young, and Elk Ridge Head Professional Ryan Wells to lead the sold-out event.
Angie Carriere was one of the participants alongside her sister Shelly Carriere and friend Jacqueline Archer. Carriere spoke about the experience and urges others to participate in future camps or even search locally for golf programming if you want to give the sport a try.
Golf Saskatchewan is currently planning the Ladies Camp for 2023 with hopefully a southern Saskatchewan based camp as well.
