It took 25 attempts but Pauline McDougall is the Ladies Lobstick champion.
The Prince Albert resident came to tears after outlasting Kim Brown in a playoff to win the event on Aug. 28. The Cooke Municipal member was the fourth seed after the 36 hole qualifying rounds at Waskesiu and beat Sue Skinner and Julianne Burlet before she downed Brown in the final.
Skinner went on to beat Denise Hersikorn in the consolation match final.
