Alex Swinnerton is a Lobstick champion after outlasting the matchplay field on the weekend at Waskesiu Golf Course.
A former junior at the club, Swinnerton tied for second in the Lobstick Open and went into the championship flight of matchplay as the top seed.
He defeated Curtis Peet, Rob Schneider, Scott Mackay, Payton Ochitwa, and Jeff Dormuth on route to the win, in his first and only men’s Lobstick.

The Saskatoon product will turn professional this week and play the Glencoe for his first event.
