Ryan Moher’s success just keeps continuing.
The 18-year-old Saskatoon product has a Saskatchewan Junior Championship on his resume, a NextGen Prairie Championship and now a NextGen Western Championship after he won that event Sunday in Ponoka, Alta.
Mosher battled back from two shots behind going into the final round but managed to finish at 4-under par, one shot ahead of Jeevyn Lotay or Burnaby, B.C.
Austin Nesbitt of Pilot Butte, Sask. placed tied for 12th at 10-over par, 220.
Finn Silver of North Battleford played well finishing in a tie for 15th at 221 (74, 76, 71).
Aricin Franklin (T-19), Ethan Hunter (T-25), Brady Guenther (T-50), and Carter Nelson (T-50) also made the cut.
Grace Odnokon of Saskatoon was the highest finisher in the junior women’s division. The reigning under-19 and under-17 Saskatchewan champion tied for 12th. She signed for rounds of 74, 78, and 81.
Niya Friesen of Swift Current made the cut as well, she was tied for 15th at 236 (81, 77. 78).
